April 15-17 Pre-Season Spring Fling
Your last chance at 3&2 to enter a tournament before league play starts. This is a great opportunity for the non-sanctioned, 3&2 league teams to play in their own bracket. We will include a 14U 60/90 in a Saturday afternoon/Sunday format if we get at least four teams.
April 29-May 1 KC T-Bones Sizzler
Join us April 29 - May 1 for this tournament, where every player gets a voucher for a free ticket to a T-Bones game in 2011. Potential appearances by Sizzle, the T-Bones mascot is on deck as well as many other special giveaways. We will include a 14U 60/90 in a Saturday afternoon/Sunday format if we get at least four teams.

May 6-8 May Slugfest
This is a great weekend for a tournament in the middle of a month of league play at 3&2. This weekend was added last year and we are expecting a lot of interest in 2011.

May 28-30 Memorial Day Classic
Always a great event at 3&2. Lots of teams! Games played Saturday-Monday.

June 3-5 MO-KAN Border Battle
Top teams from each age level (9-14) and level of play (AA and AAA) will square off in the MO-KAN BORDER BATTLE. Each bracket (AA and AAA) will have three Kansas teams and three Missouri teams in respective state pools. Three pool-play games will be played against the teams in the other pool. The Kansas pool winner will meet the Missouri pool winner in the championship game. Bracket champions will walk away with championship T-shirts! Games will potentially start as early as 12:30pm on Friday at all age levels.

June 3-5 Longball Classic
Same weekend as the MO-KAN Border Battle, this event is for the 7's & 8's and 9-14 A-level teams, as well as the 15-18's. The kickoff tournament of the summer. Games will start as early as 12:30pm on Friday.

June 10-12 Nill Bros / Louisville Slugger Classic (Wood bats for 15's-18's)
One of our biggest tournaments of the year. Baseball at its purest at the high school level where they will be swinging the wood! Games will potentially start as early as 12:30pm on Friday at all age levels.

June 17-19 Summer High School Showcase
Another well-attended high school tournament at 3&2. More than 40 teams expected, and area scouts from the region will be looking on. Games will potentially start as early as 12:30pm on Friday at all age levels.

June 24-26 3&2 High School Showdown
The last pre-state tournament of the year for high school level teams. Again, more than 40 teams are expected to enter this event. Games will potentially start as early as 12:30pm on Friday at all age levels.

June 30-July 4 Kansas A & AA USSSA State Tournament
The teams will be numerous with action aplenty as the 8's, 9's, 10's, 11's and 13's at the A level and the 8's, 9's, 11's, 13's and 15's at the AA level play for state championships. Games on July 4th will be completed by mid-afternoon.

July 8-10 Kansas USSSA High School State Tournament
Each age level, 16, 17 and 18's will play for their respective state titles.

July 18-24 USSSA AA World Series
The big event of the year with teams from as far west as Colorado east as Missouri, south as Texas, and north as Minnesota flock to 3&2. This is a great week of baseball with fun side events like the parade of teams and skills contests galore.

July 24-26 Going, Going, Gone Machine Pitch Tournament (Exclusively for our 7 & 8U MP Teams)
This is not your typical Machine Pitch tournament. It’s a lot more. We created a world-class baseball experience for the participants last season right here in Kansas City and the tradition continues in 2011. Virtually every element of this tournament has come from soliciting feedback from the Machine Pitch Coaching Community both at 3&2 and in other programs about what you want out of a 7-8U tournament. Here are the details:
Sunday, July 24th will be dedicated to baseball pageantry. We are planning the following activities—an entry parade for the teams, skills competitions, including fastest base runner, fastest around the horn, home run derby, and accu-throw competitions. The day will culminate with an All-Star game. Not comfortable with singling your players out for an All Star game? Pull from a hat, have teammates vote, or do whatever works for your team, but plan on having 3-4 representatives play a game for fun.
The tournament will be played on the following Monday and Tuesday evenings. Wrap up your summer baseball season with Going, Going, Gone!
Note: Capacity may be limited so sign up early. This is a non-sanctioned USSSA tournament. Eligibility of players is by grade (like the 3&2 league vs. the May 1 cutoff) but we will play by USSSA tournament game rules.

September 10-11 Dakota Style Sunflower Shootout
The best time of the year to play baseball in the KC area. Each team will be outfitted with a 1 lb bag of Dakota Style Sunflower Seeds. Stay tuned for more details on a potential sunflower seed sptting contest for distance and accuracy. Minimum of three games over Saturday-Sunday. Will be sold out early at the 13-18 year old levels.
