WELCOME!
WELCOME to the 2011 USSSA 16U, 17U and 18U AA and AAA/Major Kansas State Tournaments. Your tournament host is The 3&2 Baseball Club of Johnson County.
QUALIFICATIONS TO PLAY IN STATE TOURNAMENT
Teams must have either participated in a state qualifying tournament or have played in a sanctioned league. In addition, the following items must be to Wally Fortuna, the Kansas State Director, by Monday, July 6th, 816-587-4545, mailing address is 6324 N. Chatham Ave #136, Kansas City, MO 64151.
- Complete ENTRY FORM.
- Cashier’s check or money order for $395 made payable to the “USSSA BASEBALL”.
- Official USSSA roster.
The State Director will forward the team information to 3&2 Baseball. Please call (913) 888-8055 or e-mail 3&2 Baseball (info@3and2baseball.com) to verify that we have record of your attendance. A list of the teams will not be available to 3&2 until the Tuesday prior to the tournament.
CHECK IN & MANAGER’S MEETING
Please arrive early for your first game to check-in at the field manager’s office at either complex. At check-in, we will compare the roster you had previously submitted to USSSA with the one you bring with you to registration. In addition, tournament passes (four per team) and general information will be available. Team managers need to have the following items with them when they check in:
- USSSA roster that will be compared with one submitted to earlier that will be supplied by USSSA.
- Check in sheet.
- Copy of high school transcript for each member of your team to verify they are the proper grade.

HOTEL INFORMATION

FORMAT
The USSSA Baseball program will use the pool-play format with teams seeded into pools for round robin play (based on the State USSSA point totals available at the time of seeding). A single-elimination format will be used in the championship bracket following pool play. The exact format of the tournament, the number of pools, number of teams in each pool, etc., will be set by the Tournament Director following USSSA baseball guidelines and being approved by the USSSA Baseball State Director

Friday, July 8 8am- Pool play
Saturday, July 9 8am- Pool play
Sunday, July 10 8am – Championship play
ADMISSION
A team gate fee of $175 due at time of check in.
AWARDS TO BE PRESENTED
- Team awards for the 1st and 2nd place teams.
- Individual awards to the 1st and 2nd place teams.
