WELCOME to the 2010 USSSA Baseball 8-Under machine pitch, 10-Under, 12-Under & 14-Under “AA” World Series tournament. Your tournament host is The 3&2 Baseball Club of Johnson County. 3&2 has been playing host to World Series events since 2000 which should provide confidence to your team and families that they will have a quality experience. Typically 25-45 teams participate in each of the 10-12-14 year old divisions and 10+ teams in the 8-Under.

QUALIFICATIONS TO PLAY IN WORLD SERIES TOURNAMENT
In order to participate in this World Series tournament, you must have participated in a state qualifying tournament and in a state tournament. Your team must enter online at www.usssa.com on or before July 11, 2010. Your State Director will need to approve your entry to confirm your team has met all eligibility requirements. The cost to enter the tournament is $575, which includes a $20 on-line payment fee.

The official team roster must be entered on-line at www.USSSA.com to be considered valid for the World Series. This roster must be the one that was submitted to your state director when your team qualified for this tournament. Failure to comply with this rule will result in your team not being allowed to participate in the tournament.

To find information on your state director, click here.  The state director will then forward this material and a letter of transmittal to the “AA” World Series Headquarters: The 3&2 Baseball Club of Johnson County, PO Box 14011, Lenexa, KS 66285 to guarantee your spot in the tournament.

3&2 Baseball will post a list of teams after the registration deadline for teams to verify that they are entered.

CHECK IN & MANAGER’S MEETING
Players should NOT attend this meeting. Team managers need to have the following items with them when they check in:

  2. Any player addition forms (must be signed by their State Director).
  3. Cell number and hotel of where you are staying.

Failure to have a copy of the original birth certificate or approved photo ID available upon demand will result in the offending team losing the game, being ejected from the World Series, being placed last in the standings and forfeiting all awards that would have been awarded at the World Series.

The mandatory manager’s meeting will cover rules and procedures to be followed during the tournament. Teams can be checked in after the meeting if necessary.

At the same time as the check-in meeting, a Team Mom meeting will be held.  The purpose of this meeting is to pick up any pre-ordered items and distribute information about the entertainment possibilities in the area and events going on during the tournament.  (A maximum of two people per team due to space issues)
