WELCOME to the 2008 USSSA Baseball 8-U machine pitch, 9-U, 11-U and 13-U “A” & “AA” State Tournaments. Your tournament host is The 3&2 Baseball Club of Johnson County.

QUALIFICATIONS TO PLAY IN THE STATE TOURNAMENT
In order to participate in this state tournament, you must have either participated in a state qualifying tournament or have played in a sanctioned league.  In addition, the following items must be to Wally Fortuna, the Kansas State Director, by Monday, June 30th, 3pm. Wally can be reached at 816-587-4545 and the mailing address is 6324 N. Chatham Ave #136, Kansas City, MO 64151.

MANAGER’S CHECK IN PROCEDURE
Please arrive early for your first game to check-in at the field manager’s office at either complex. At check-in team managers need to have the following items:

  1. USSSA roster
  2. Check in sheet.
  3. Copy of birth certificates for each member of your team to verify their age.
  4. Check for $165 for the team gate fee. (Made payable to 3&2 Baseball).

HOTEL INFORMATION

FORMAT
The USSSA Baseball program will use the pool-play format in this State tournament.  Teams will be seeded into pools (based on the State USSSA point totals available to the Tournament Director) where they will play a round robin.  A single-elimination format will be used in the championship bracket following pool play. The exact format of the tournament, the number of pools, number of teams in each pool, etc., will be set by the Tournament Director following USSSA baseball guidelines and being approved by the USSSA Baseball State Director.

AWARDS TO BE PRESENTED

  • Team awards for the 1st and 2nd place teams.
  • Individual awards to the 1st and 2nd place teams.

  • 8am- Pool play continues.
Sunday, July 6
  • 8am – Championship brackets begin
