Sportsmanship Committee - This Committee handles sportmanship
issues as they arise during the season and works
with the NAIA
in partnership with their Champions of Character
sportsmanship program. The committee is also responsible
for determining
the sportsmanship winner that are named each fall.
The commiteee includes the Chairman and individuals
to head
up the four divisions: High School, 7th-8th Grade,
3rd-6th Grade & 1st-2nd Grade.
Finance Committee - This committee is charged with reviewing
the monthly financial statements, preparing the annual
operating budget and overseeing the general financial
concerns of the organization.
Human Resources Committee - This committee determines and works
with the human resource policies of the organization
and assists in any personnel issues.
Tournament Committee - This committee is charged with promoting,
helping to run, registering teams for tournaments and determining
the annual tournament schedule. The also assist with distibution
of trophies at the end of tournaments.
Rules Committee - This committee reviews the current playing
and league rules, debates potential rule changes and
then proposes to the board changes that should be made.
Facilities Committee - This committee continuously reviews
both complexes and determines a priortized list of projects
that can and need to be done.
High School Committee - This committee works closely
with the high school coaches in determining the best way
to run the high school league and is charged with determining
how the schedule works out and providing opportunities
and guidance for promoting the players that want to play
beyound their high school years.
Scholarship Committee - 3&2 awards three or four $500 scholarships
each year to graduated juniors and/or seniors that participate
in the 3&2 program. This committee promotes these
awards, solicits applicants, reviews those applicants
and determines
award winners.
