Information
about Umpiring at The 3&2 Baseball Club of Johnson County
3&2 Umpires and Prospective Umpires:
All umpires, whether new or experienced, should attend a series of training sessions, starting in the spring of 2012.
Once we set the umpire training schedule for 2012, it will be posted to this page. We will do so by then end of 2011.
See entire class schedule below.
All umpires are required to attend. Returning umpires will need to verify with me if you cannot attend a meeting. New umpires are asked to attend all the meetings. However, with the many school functions, we ask that you attend as many as possible. The more meetings you attend, the better the chance you have to be hired for the summer.
Please bring paper and pen to each class. You will be supplied with an umpire training class manual.
There are no fees for this class. Please bring your social security number, mailing address, any and all phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Do not buy any equipment or clothes at this time.
Scheduling and confirming will be done by the on-line scheduling program called the Arbiter. If we don't have your e-mail address, it will be very difficult to schedule you.
The season begins the weekend of March 23rd - 25th with an opening weekend tournament. You need to e-mail me the dates you cannot work in March/April as soon as possible. My e-mail address is johndehan@3and2baseball.com
I'll see you at the first umpire class.
