About the camp

The Lancer Baseball Camp will focus on the fundamentals of the game of baseball. We will instruct the campers on basic infield and outfield fundamentals. This camp will also include situational work and defensive alignments using the SM East system.  This is a great opportunity for the SM East Staff to meet the young student/athletes in our community. This camp has a limited number for each session, so please enroll early.

The Lancer Baseball Coaching Staff and current Shawnee Mission East baseball players will conduct the camp.

Who can attend the camp?

Any incoming 7th, 8th, or 9th graders can register.  We limit the number of participants due to the desire for low instructor/camper ratio.  Parents and/or coaches are also encouraged to attend.

Where is the camp?

All sessions will be held at the Shawnee Mission East practice field on campus, 75th & Mission.

What do I bring to the camp?

Please bring glove, spikes, baseball pants, hat, bat, water bottle with name on it, and sunscreen.  Catchers bring gear if you own it.
