Both camps will focus on all aspects of baseball including: Hitting, Pitching, Catching, Fundamental defense and Base running.

About the instructors

Carl Garrett is in his 2nd year as head coach at Olathe South. Coach Garrett graduated from Mid America Nazarene University where he played varsity baseball for four years.  Previously, Coach Garrett coached at DeSoto High School for nine years, seven as a head coach.  Coach Garrett’s last stint was the head coach at Mill Valley High School for six years.  Coach Garrett’s past includes coaching the KC Monarchs, an 18-U team which won the AAU National Championship in 1999 & 2001.  Coach Garrett and his staff are excited to be able to meet future Falcon baseball players as well as teach the fundamentals of Falcons Baseball!

Who can attend the camp?

Any student who will finish 6th, 7th or 8th grades in May of 2008 and plan on attending Olathe South HS, . Parents and coaches are welcome to attend.  We will accept the first 35 players that register for each camp.

Where is the camp?

All sessions will be held at Mid America Nazarene University (MNU), Baseball Field.  Directions:  From Mur-len, turn west on 143rd street and go 1 block, the field is on your right.  The field sits between College Church and the FB field on 143rd

What do I bring to the camp?

Glove, spikes, sweatpants, hat, bat, water bottle with “your name on it”, and enthusiasm to learn. Catchers bring gear if you own it.
