What:	3&2 Fall-Select Showcase & Development Teams
For Who:	Competitive players entering 10-12th grades this fall. Up to 60 players will be invited to participate. (up to 3 teams)
Purpose:	Program is designed to provide an opportunity for players wanting to expand their baseball experience in a highly competitive fall baseball environment and interest in showcasing their baseball skills to area and regional college coaches and recruiters.
Head Coach	Bob Jones, Head Coach/ Program Director.  Fall 2013 will be the sixth year of the program. Bob has led this highly successful program with many of its participants going on to play college baseball.  The coaching staff including past players with college and professional baseball experience to provide a high level of coaching and baseball instruction.
How to get signed up:	Your high school coach, area director or summer league coach should contact both Bob Jones and 3&2 Baseball via e-mail with the names of the players from their school that can compete at this level. Selected players will be formed into team(s) based on recommendation of their high school coaches and/or area directors and in compliance with KSHAA rules.  Registration should be submitted by July 26, 2013.   Bob Jones – bobjones@btlacademy.com   and or  Jeff Chalk -  jeff.chalk@3and2baseball.com
Key Dates	Tryouts Dates– Monday, August 5th  and Tuesday, August 6th.  Position players 4-6pm and pitchers and catchers 6-8:30pm.   Fields 24-25.  3&2’s West Complex -  8000 Monticello.  Enter off of Monticello Terrace (by Shell station)   Practices: Tuesday and/or Thursday Evenings – August thru October
Games:	In addition to the 3&2 Fall Select HS Showcases (involving HS showcase teams and junior college teams, the Fall Select traveling team will participate in showcase games at the following colleges and universities:   Iowa Western Community College             Barton County Community College Hutchinson Community College                  Benedictine Univ. Showcase KU Showcase                                                   KSU Showcase Butler County Community College              Neosho County Community College Allen County Community College                Missouri Western State U. Showcase Fort Scott Community College                     Coffeyville Community College Emporia State Univ. Showcase                    Longview Community College Pittsburg State Univ. Showcase                   Kansas Newman Univ. Showcase Games are played on the weekends during the fall at college fields.    The Fall Select Development Team(s), usually made up of freshmen and sophomores, will participate in the 3&2 Fall League and playing in 3-4 tournaments.
Cost:	Player fee will vary based on the level of play.  $650 - $660 (approximately 18 - 20 players) for the senior level traveling team and $380 -$400 for players on the non-traveling development team(s) (15 -16 players).  The traveling team will be determined by tryouts. Players/Parents are responsible for own lodging, travel and meals. There are NO 3&2 scholarships available for this program.
Uniform:	3&2 will provide program uniform hats and T-shirt jerseys.

 

The 3&2 Baseball Club of Johnson County and the Kansas City Royals are teaming up again in the 2013 season for an exclusive night at the K for teams and their families! 3&2 Night for 2013 is on Friday, July 19 vs. the Detroit Tigers and features Buck Night and Summer Fireworks! Tickets purchased through 3&2 will include an unlimited Outfield Experience wristband.

There are many great baseball camp opportunities available through Johnson County 3&2 Baseball this summer.

 

For players in K-5^th grades, 3&2 runs camps at the East Complex (3-5^th graders) and at the West Complex (K-2^nd graders) starting in June. 

  

For players currently in the 6^th-8^th grades, many of the local high school coaches have camps at their high schools for players that will be attending that high school. If your school isn't listed, that high school coach does not run a camp through the 3&2 program. You are welcome to attend camps outside of your high school area.

 

Many of these camps, much like several of the winter hitting camp sessions, will fill quickly after being opened.
